Several more free EASI webinars are available over the summer and autumn

EASI is producing 2 series of Interactive Webinars on specific accessibility-related topics. One consists of single, free Webinars which are open to the public. While the fee-based Webinars consist of 3-4 Webinars providing more in-depth information.

EASI (Equal Access to Software and Information has over a dozen webinars planned for the summer and early fall, and even more are being explored.

EASI is pleased to host Webinar presenters from across the US as well as several other countries. As usual, some presenters are, themselves, adaptive technology users, and others are professionals supporting adaptive technology. Webinars use conference systems that facilitate hosting an accessible event. All times for the EASI seminars are based on USA Eastern time

Currently, these include:
  • Facebook with JAWS and MAGic: a 2-part Webinar Series on June 26 and July 31
  • Shalin Recounts the Adventure of Creating an Accessible App for iPhone Thursday July 9
  • Creating and Reading Accessible ePub Documents for Beginners on Thursday July 16
  • incorporating disability/accessibility/universal design topics into postsecondary computer science and engineering courses Tuesday Aug. 4
  • Updating the Diagram Center to Enhance Image accessibility on Tuesday August 18
  • Twitter with JAWS and MAGic tentative Tuesday August 25
  • Update on NFB-NEWSLINE on Tuesday September 22

  • EASI Fee-based 4-part Series: Beginner/Intermediate PowerPoint on Thursdays Sept. 10, 17, 24 and October 1
  • EASI Fee-based, 4-part Series: Word 2013: Beyond the Basics on Tuesday October 6, 13, 20 and 27
